Figge Creates Art Diversity and Equity Fund and Unveils New Acquisitions to Permanent Collection

Davenport, Iowa (Thursday, July 15) – The Figge Art Museum unveiled seven new acquisitions at an invitation-only event at the museum on Thursday evening. A newly created Art Diversity and Equity Fund intended to combat the systemic inequality in the art world was also announced and is being initially funded by a lead gift from locals Jim and Michelle Russell.
