Audience members are invited to stay after the film and explore the question, "Is it dance, is it theatre, or is it just life?" Kicking off the conversation are Artist and Professor Emeritus (St. Ambrose University) Les Bell, Ballet Quad Cities Artistic Director Courtney Lyons, and Figge Director of Education Melissa Mohr.
About Pina:
Pina, Wim Wenders' Academy Award-nominated tribute to the genius of choreographer Pina Bausch, was originally filmed in 3D. A sensual, visually stunning journey from the stage of the legendary Tanztheater Wuppertal, the home and center for Pina Bausch’s creativity for 35 years, into the city of Wuppertal and the surrounding countryside. Surprising and inspiring.
