The Figge Art Museum has been storing and displaying works from the University of Iowa's Stanley Museum of Art's permanent collection since the flood of 2008 forced the museum to close its doors. The second-floor gallery space at the FIgge has works from their collection on view all year round. The pieces will be at the Figge until the University of Iowa's new building is finished.

All University of Iowa students, faculty, and staff with university ID cards, and Stanley members with their membership cards are admitted to the FIgge Art Museum free of charge.

The Figge is located one hour east of Iowa City. For more information on the University of Iowa Stanley Museum of Art, please visit their website
