Ballet Quad Cities is never afraid to try something new! Created by Maquoketa based artist Chuck Morris and intended for visual artists, one shake of the “Shake the Muse” phone app will generate a unique combination of art elements to inspire new works of visual art.  Always open to fresh inspiration, Artistic Director and choreographer Courtney Lyon borrows the Shake the Muse phone app to generate new ideas in choreography in this innovative dance experiment.  With over 20 billion combinations of results possible, no two performances of Ballet Quad Cities’ “Shake the Muse” will ever be the same.  Audience participation and live music by Rob Miller will add to the fun.  Also included will be a sneak peek excerpt from Ballet Quad Cities “The Nutcracker” and more!
