This ceramics class is a collaboration with Black Hawk College. It offers a unique ‘blended’ experience combining Black Hawk students with students 16 and older, who take the class as non-credit through the Figge Art Museum. Students will learn techniques in hand building, wheel work, identifying clays and glazes, firing and more. Students who complete both sessions are eligible to take advanced ceramics, beginning in January, 2020. Upon completion of all four sessions, students are eligible to join BHC’s Pottery Guild.
