Arts Café at the Figge
Located adjacent to the main lobby of the Figge, the space is organized through the volunteer efforts of members of the Artists Advisory Council, Quad City Arts, and MidCoast Fine Arts and is open during normal museum operating hours. The Arts Café is open to the public with no admission charge.
Show of Hands
Show runs from Tuesday, June 3 through Wednesday, July 30
Reception will be held on Friday, July 25, 5-7 pm
Open to the public with free admission.
Sixteen artists received the most "best artwork" votes by attendees of Quad City Arts annual fundraiser, the Valentine Art Auction. This selection of artists will represent Quad City Arts in the exhibition Show of Hands. The featured artists are: Mindy Diaz, Mark Fowler, Ange Glade, Sally Gierke, Ralph Iaccarino, Catherine Jones-Davies, Lisa Mahar, Colleen McCarty, Beth Peters, Sarah Robb, Rowan Schussheim-Anderson, Loren Shaw Hellige, Steve Sinner, Jessica Roll, Dawn Wohlford-Metallo and Ken Urban. A free public reception will be held 5-7 pm in the Arts Café at the Figge on Friday, July 25, and continue at Bucktown from 6-9 pm, in conjunction with Bucktown's Final Friday celebrations.
