Art Foundations

In order to serve a wide range of artists, the School of the Figge differentiates courses by the categories of Novice, Apprentice and Master.  We have provided descriptions to easily allow you to select the level in which you feel most comfortable.  Classes are designed for students 16 years and older.

Novice Courses

Novice level courses introduce or reintroduce students to an art environment and allow the students to feel comfortable creating art.  These classes will give students the foundational tools for future classes.
