Four works of art in the Figge Art Museum's American and Midwest Regionalist collections are the focus of this curriculum unit. The unit is designed to teach upper elementary students about the Midwestern region, a subject of study in Iowa and Illinois schools and in many other Midwestern states. Designed for classroom teachers, the materials can also be used in the art classroom.
